About Us...

Hydro-Cam Engineering has a passion for close tolerance tooling and stampings.  Since 1945, we've met the challenge of producing precise, close tolerance tooling and stamping for industries that will not settle for anything less than the best.

As a proactive company, we continually seek ways to upgrade the quality of our products and services for our stamping customers.

Hydro-Cam Engineering was one of the first designers and builders of tungsten carbide stamping dies in the world, having delivered carbide lamination dies for electric motor rotors, stators and separators since 1946.

In 1963, Hydro-Cam designed and built the first scroll die for motor laminations.  This design avoided slitting of coil stock and resulted in material savings of up to 20 percent.  In 1964 the first contour scroll die was designed and built by Hydro-Cam.

Hydro-Cam is committed to the goal of providing customers with the best in quality tooling and service.  We have assembled a talented staff of engineers, precision grinders and die makers who are dedicated to this goal.  Hydro-Cam Dies are operating in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Mexico, South America and Asia.

Hydro-Cam's exceptionally clean and well organized manufacturing area provides an atmosphere of high quality and precision.  Ultra-precision surface grinding and inspections are carried out in individually-controlled rooms.  Overhead cranes move heavy die components through manufacturing and assembly areas with ease.

So great is the accuracy of a Hydro-Cam Die, we guarantee any replacement part we make will fit for the life of the die.  We also make replacement components for customers with non Hydro-Cam tools, or to their custom specifications.

A precise stamping job begins with the design/production of precision stamping and forming dies. We have a press capacity here at Hydro-Cam of 45 tons up to 200 tons.

Everyone here at Hydro-Cam is committed to excellence and superior customer service.  Our knowledgeable sales and engineering staff look forward to working with you on any current and future projects you may have.
